Step1 . Greetings.

T: Hi, I’m Miss Zhang .S: Hi, I’m …..
T: Hello, ….. S: Hello, Miss Cai.
T: Good morning, … S: Good morning, Miss Cai.
T: How are you? S: I’m fine.
2. Sing a song : Hello, Hello .(边唱边做动作)
Step2.Presentation
1. T show a picture of Ms Smart and say :
Today , we’ll have a new teacher, Ms Smart. Shall we say hello to Ms Smart . OK?
2. T act as Ms Smart and say hello to students. Students say hello to Ms Smart.
Practice Ms and Smart.
3.T: Ms Smart is a new teacher. She doesn’t know your names. So she want to know your names
T: What’s your name?
T: I’m Miss Cai. My name is Miss Cai.
(老师自问自答,重复几次。)
T show these two sentences and explain : these sentences have the same mean. So when someone ask what’s your name. You can answer I’m….or My name is…….
4. T read My name is ……., Ss read after the teacher.
5.T ask the student one by one with “What’s your name?”
Ss answer the question one by one with “My name is …..”.(老师纠错)
6.Ss learn : What’s your name?
Ss ask each other one by one,
S1 : Hello, I’m S1 What’s your name?
S2: My name is…S2. What’s your name?
S3: My name is S3 What’s your name?
S4: My name is…S4……
