  Unit 2 How many green balls?

       The first period

Teaching procedures:

 

1.      Greetings

2.      Free talk

3.      Review

T: What colour? (show a picture of green ball)

S: It’s green.

T: Great! What colour? (show a picture of red ball)

S: It’s red.

T: Great! Use the same way to review other colours.

4.      Presentation

教师接着刚才复习的话题,

继续拿出一张画有一个绿球的图片说:

(1)T: What colour?

S: It’s green.

T: Yes. What’s this?  It’s a ball.

  老师重复几遍,让学生理解意思。然后老师说出中文意思并板书。学生学习,老师领读,学生跟读并逐个过关。

(2)T: (show some green balls and say) green balls.

S: (students read after the teacher ) green balls.

T show the balls with different colours.

S: red balls, yellow balls, black balls, white balls, blue balls.

 (3)T: show a picture of many balls with different colours.

     How many green balls?

Let me count.  One, two, three. Three.

     老师重复几遍,让学生试着理解意思。然后老师讲解意思。

     并板书:How many green balls. Three.

     老师逐个单词教授,然后整句教授。学生学习并逐个过关。

5.      Practice

1.     Listen to the tape and read after it three times.

2.     Look at the picture on page 16, talk about the picture with the partner.

3.     Ask and answer with the partner then act out it.

6.      Consolidation

Do the listening exercise on the exercise book.

7.      Homework

Listen to the tape and read Module 4.

8.      Writing on the blackboard.

How many blue balls?    Three.

How many yellow balls?   Two.

9.      Teaching thinkings

The second period

1.     Greetings.

2.     Free talk.

3.     Review.

(1) T: What colour?

S: It’s ….

通过师生问答,复习颜色的单词。

   (2) T: Show a picture of balls, then ask

        How many blue balls?

      S: Three.

      T: How many …..balls?

      S: …….

4.     Presentation.

(1)     老师在复习完后,拿出一张画有彩虹的图片问学生:

T: What’s this?

S: 彩虹。

T: Yes, it’s a rainbow.

(T write the rainbow on the blackboard.)

S: Students learn the word “rainbow”

(2) T: I can sing a song about rainbow. Do you want to learn it.

S: Yes.

T: OK. Listen carefully.

S: Listen to the tape.

T: Its name is “I can sing a rainbow”

5.     Practice

(1) Students listen to the tape and read the words after the tape.

   (2) Students learn the new words: pink, purple

   (3) Students read the words after the teacher.

   (4) Students sing after the tape.

   (5) Students sing the song together

6.     Consolidation

学生表演唱这首歌。

7.     Homework.

Listen to the tape and read Module 4.

8.     Writing on the blackboard.

I can sing a rainbow.

Red and yellow and pink and green.

Purple and orange and blue/

I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, too.
