Unit 2 I’m a boy.

Teaching procedures:
Step1. Greetings.

1. Free talk : review Module 1

T: Hi, I’m Miss Cai .        S:  Hi, I’m …..

T: Hello,  …..             S:  Hello, Miss Cai.

T: Good morning, …         S: Good morning,  Miss Cai.

T: How are you?            S:  I’m fine.

2. Sing a song : Hello,  Hello .(边唱边做动作)

Step2.Presentation.

(1) T: Show the picture of Ms Smart and say hello to the Students.

T: Good morning ,s1. (师扮作Ms Smart)

S1: Good morning , Ms Smart.

T: show the words: good and morning.

     Teach : good ,  morning,  Good morning.

(2) T: Good morning, s2

   S2: Good morning, Ms Smart. (操练几组)

(3) S3: Good morning, s4.

   S4: Good morning , s3. (学生生生操练)

(4) T: Hello, I’m Miss Cai.  What’s your name?

   S1: My name ‘s s1.

   T: Show the picture of a bird and stick the picture on the blackboard. And say “Hello , bird. What’s your name?”

   B: Tweet-tweet! (模仿小鸟的叫声)

(5) Teach: bird. Hello, bird. What’s your name?

   Ss read after the teacher and say it one by one.

   S: Hello, bird. What’s your name?

   T: Tweet-tweet. (学生接龙问。然后老师指明问。)

(6) Use the same way to teach “Tweet-tweet.”

Step3.Practice

   1. Listen to the tape and point

   2. Listen to the tape and say ”Good morning.”

   3. Read after the tape

   4: Game: introduce oneself. (in groups)

     S1: Hi, I’m Lanlan. What’s your name?

     S2: Hello, my name’s Lili..

     S2: Hello, I’m Lili. What’s your name

     S3: Hi, my name’s Feifei.

     S3: I’m Feifei. What’s your name?

     S4: Hi, my name’s Tingting.

 Step4.Consolidation

   Listen to the tape and read after the tape .

 Step5. Homework

    1.Listen to the tape and read Module 2 Unit

    2.Practice the dialogue in pairs .
