How can you know the events happening to your students in a week?
How can you hear what your students are thinking about at present?
How can you go deep into the hearts of your students all the three years?
Here is a good way of doing this.
Just let your students write a weekly diary.
They are busy with their subjects every day. Needless to make them write every day. Just do it once a week. That’s fine with me and the students.
Sometimes they don’t like to talk face to face with you. But they can put it down in their diary. Especially they can give you some advice about the class daily administration, even some criticism about some guys in your class or your job as a head teacher. All you should do is to take it well.
Anytime don’t blame them for whatever they write in the diary. Just think that they do all this out of good will. And this will profit your job.
Each time I look through their diary, I take it seriously to write down my feedback, and sign my name, which makes us feel close. This can be seen as a double way communication, smooth and having no gap. The advantage of doing so is that you and your students can understand better to improve your job..
