Last midnight it drizzled, leaving the ground lightly wet here and there in the morning, cold and gloomy.
Two lessons in the morning. And then prepared tomorrow’s teaching materials.
The mid-term exams are coming in two weeks.
Now I am sitting in the office, reading a short English story, “An Ordinary Day, with Peanuts” by Shirley Jackson.
No lessons this afternoon.
Looking out of window into the sky, I find it looks ominously dark. It’s going to rain soon, at least a drizzle again.
After the first lesson period, one girl student from the neighbor class was brought in by the geography teacher, saying that the girl wasn’t listening to the lesson, but drawing cartoon pictures on the classroom wall. She was quite impolite, paying no heed to the teacher’s criticism. Her head teacher handled it.
I smoke when no other teachers are here, and leave the door and the only window open, letting the puffs going out of the office.
Yes, I’d better quit smoking.
A gust of cold wind is blowing in through the window. Looking outside, I can see it seems to be getting a little darker. Qiguogudu@2006-10-25 16:06:12 |
