  Today’s Notes (11.3)

This morning, coming down stairs from my home on the sixth floor, I felt a little colder than before, knowing that there was a light rain at midnight upon seeing the wet on the ground.

The air is moist and cold. Under the trees were fallen yellow leaves, damp and lying there quietly.

The sky was high, white with light blue clouds appearing here and there. In the far east sky it was scarlet, as if burning. I could see the morning sunlight brilliantly shining over the buildings and treetops.

About at 8, the sky was brighter. And it promises a fine day, even though a bit colder than yesterday.

Today the art classes are having drawing lessons for the whole day.

Great! I can handle something of my own.

Hooray!

Such a fine day! Warm and shining!

Today there was a film “The Great Adjudication in Tokyo” (I am not sure about the English equivalent of “东京大审判”). School organized the junior students to see the movie in the theater at 9:20, as a patriotism education. And teachers who don’t have lessons in the morning or have finished lessons can go as they like. Surely some seized the opportunity to go home or go shopping for the only morning.

So I was left alone in the office. ( There are four teachers, myself included , in the office. And all of us teach art classes.)

I watched the film “Bodyguard” starred by Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, and then prepared some materials for tomorrow’s lessons.

Kind of great!

I lit a cigarette, and put on the earphone and started to enjoy myself.

On the southeast corner of the campus was a rectangular piece of grassland with a pavilion in the center and some trees planted randomly. And the school is planning to change it into an ornamental garden with paved winding paths and some stuff. Civil workers have moved the grass. And now they are doing the civil work.

I don’t think this is a good idea. The original lawn seems to harmonize with the campus. It’s not necessary to rebuild it.

In the afternoon I continued to prepare some revision papers, and then watched some episodes of “Friends”.

And some other paper work.
