Tell you one thing that happened in my first class today.

We were checking up some exercises in the English class. And some students forgot to bring their exercise-books. So they just shared the books with their desk-mates. This really made me angry. Is it right that you students don’t have books in class? Can a soldier forget the gun with him in a battle field?

So I managed to bear one such thing. Any way I must go on with my lesson.

When I raised my head I happened to catch two fat desk-mate girls fighting their fists under the desk and giggling. They even shared one book!

I should stand this? No. I am the head teacher. If they can play tricks in my class, I am sure they dare do the same thing in other teachers’ lessons.

“The two fat girls stand up!” I pretended not to stare at them and intended to let them realize themselves and stand up. They looked around to find who I was referring to. There are only two super fat girls in my class. Finally they realized I was talking about them and stood up unwillingly.

At this point I walked near to them.

“Where is your book?” said I with a tone of half anger and half joking. Because I realized that I used a wrong word “fat”. I saw one girl’s face turned red and very much embarrassed, and she was likely to feel that she had been humiliated.

But I continued. “You don’t have your book and you were not listening carefully. Do you have any reason to do so?”

She began to be shedding tears and replied defiantly, “I forgot to bring it!”

Wow! I could sense my blood go up all of a sudden.

“None of your lip! You go out!”

She dropped one book onto the desk and went out, crying.

After class I led her in my office. We had a talk. Now she was feeling relaxed. She told me that she didn’t like being called “fat ball”. That was the reason why she yelled at me. And she apologized to me. I explained to her that I didn't really mean that. And I also told her that the way of my addressing was not proper. And what’s more, I pointed out that she often lacked discipline in class. Teachers mentioned this to me, too. She nodded in agreement and promised to behave herself.

I let her back for the second lesson.

Yeah, frankly speaking, I shouldn’t have said that stupid words, “fat girls”. I could have had a better way!
